A letter from Bebop - improving reading & writing skills

Hi guys,

Look at this! You have received a letter from an alien! He wants to know more about you and the Earth.

Please read the letter and write an answer for this friend.

Dear Children,

My name is Bebop and I am from the planet Boogie.

Boogie land is always warm and sunny. In fact it is never cold and it never snows or rains. We don’t have any flowers or trees because there is never any rain so we have to get our water to drink flown in from another planet.

I like it here but I am getting a bit bored. I want to travel the world and see other planets. I keep looking at your planet on the internet and it looks great. Tell me more about it please.

I want to know what the weather is like, where you live and the kinds of things you like to do. You all look really funny to me, fancy only having two eyes, ears, arms and legs. How do you get around? Do you have a rocket?

Please write back, who knows I might come and visit one day!
Regards
Bebop

Please download the following document and send me the answer in word format.

For sure  I will make it come to him!!!

Have a nice day!

  1. Hello,

I really like the visual part of your blog, since it is clear and has attractive images for children. In this activity.

As an improvement, it would make the activities self-evaluative so they could know if they had made mistakes and how it would be the right way.

    Greetings,

    Pilar

  2. Absolutelly interesting!

Space is one of most atrative topics for children. There are studies on this that say that young students love everything related to Space and the planets, that's why this type of activity is very nice.

It is also fun to talk with an alien and it will be nice to share with the students the different answers they give.

You propose to send the answer in Word, which is also nice to implement the use of the ICT tools. There is also the possibility of printing the sheet if you want to work with pen writing and they can read the answers out loud (after they are corrected) to work reading... your activity offers many possibilities!

    Congratulations! :-)
